“What’s Christmas without pork?” Uttered the mind, without giving any consideration to the sparingly mobile leg. A quick search in Swiggy lands me in Oink.
Oink, situated in Sterling Road, Nungambakkam seems to be a self-service kiosk with limited offerings in the menu, majorly skewed towards pork dishes.
It was such a delight to see “Porky Pav“ in the menu, the non-veg version of the all time favorite Vada Pav. Generous portion of pulled pork, cooked to perfection in tasty blend of masala and tucked inside soft pav is priced at Rs.160 (two pavs) for delivery. Go for it without a doubt, if you want to try something different and tasty.
“Pork Ribs“, the next obvious item in the order was so appetizing! The juicy & glazy tender ribs seasoned with succulent sauces served with a bun in a neatly packed container is a must try for any pork lovers. Rs. 390 for 2 ribs sound perfect, considering the quantity and quality of the meat in it.
Will soon try out the rest of the delicacies – Coorg Pandhi Curry with Paputtu, Chilly Pork and Hot Dawgs.
To sum it up, if you are a pork lover living in Chennai, you don’t have an excuse to skip Oink.
